Lourdes University art student and published cartoonist, Megan "The Cartoonist" Jurek, teaches the basics of cartooning and comic strip creation for kids. This class includes some introductory drawing, as well as the concepts of storytelling and humor that are involved in creating comic strips and comic books. The instructor will also cover the concepts of speech bubbles, speech effects, and the use of panels to tell the joke or story. Classtime 10:30-12pm. Ages 8 & up.
